Richard a London-based corporate lawyer with over 30 years’ experience, has been a partner in major US firms. In 2013 he established McCarthy Denning, which is now a leading next-generation law firm with over 85 senior lawyers from major firms. Richard has advised on one of the largest AIM readmissions and fundraisings in recent years (San Leon Energy PLC) and the ground-breaking joint venture arrangements between BAE Systems and the outsourcing group Xchanging. As well as advising blue-chip clients, Richard is known for helping early-stage, high-growth companies realise their ambitions (which often involve the public markets) and is a respected expert on the Standard List. In 2017 he co-founded and is now the chairman of Standard Listed SPAC, Rockpool Acquisitions PLC. He is also a non-executive director of CSE-listed, GreenBank Capital Inc., and a number of private companies, including quick-commerce specialist, Beelivery.
